During my undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie University, I designed and fabricated a fully mechanical combination lock. The lock was modeled using CAD software and manufactured entirely from CNC-machined components. This project was an early exercise in mechanical system design, with a focus on precision and tolerances.

The mechanism was built to operate without electronics, relying solely on the controlled sequencing of rotating disks and internal indexing features to achieve a secure locking action. Careful attention was paid to the interaction between parts, ensuring smooth operation and repeatability.
